It’s your time to shine.

Crafted from coastal vineyards in Marlborough, LYLO Sauvignon Blanc offers a symphony of zest and vitality. The aromas are bright and citrusy. Vibrant zest of Meyer lemon and key lime are complimented with juicy tropical fruit and a hint of sea breeze. As the wine opens up, deeper layers reveal themselves; hints of ripe passionfruit, guava, white peach, and a subtle note of jasmine add a floral character.

Each sip finishes crisp, leaving a refreshing minerality that captures the essence of our pristine New Zealand shores.

LYLO Sauvignon Blanc is incredibly versatile, pairing beautifully with seafood, chicken, spicy dishes, and fresh salads. For optimal enjoyment, serve LYLO Sauvignon Blanc well-chilled at 45 – 50 deg F (7 – 10 deg C). Sip on its own on a warm summer day, or as a refreshing accompaniment to light, fresh cuisine.

The 2023 season was marked by mild temperatures and regular rainfall, which, along with fewer frost events, provided excellent conditions for vine growth. Despite a slight delay in budburst and flowering, we enjoyed above-average Growing Degree Days, contributing to an early harvest beginning February 28th.

This year’s conditions yielded exceptional quality, with Sauvignon Blanc particularly standing out for its intense flavors and aromatic complexity. The season has produced a vintage that beautifully captures that signature Marlborough crispness balanced with juicy citrus and tropical fruit characters.

The winemaking process for LYLO starts with harvesting grapes at their ripest during the cool early mornings to maintain their vibrant flavors and acidity. At the winery, these grapes go through a meticulous selection and gentle pressing, followed by cold settling to enhance clarity before fermentation.

Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with carefully selected yeast strains that boost aroma and flavor. The wine matures on fine lees to add complexity and a creamy texture without losing its crispness. Before bottling, LYLO undergoes light filtration to keep aromatic purity.

The final blending process is carefully managed to ensure a perfect balance of acidity and fruit, capturing the true essence of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
